This week, I’m going back over a story that was published in the Washington Post last year. Exploring the topic of eye floaters, black spots, and flashes, writer Jill Adams explained how Patrick Muffler (a retired geologist from Palo Alto) almost went blind. Thank you to everyone out there keeping up with me, especially those who've been in contact through the site

Earlier this year, I made plans to extend the health and eye care conversation beyond my exam room. Due to limited time with patients, I felt several important topics weren’t getting enough attention. I also wanted to make myself available, if necessary.
